KINGS OF MACEDON. Demetrios I Poliorketes, 306-283 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 16.88 g, 12 h), uncertain mint, circa 289-288. Diademed and horned head of Demetrios I to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - ΔHMHTPIOY Poseidon, nude, standing left, his right foot set on a rock, holding a trident with his left hand and resting his right on his right thigh; to left, star above Δ; to right, A. Newell 160. Nicely toned. The reverse slightly rough, otherwise, good very fine.
